PEPSI GOES ICE-ICE BABY!

Adding yet another feather in their cap full of products, PepsiCo India is toying with the idea of launching its own Iced tea brand on a global platform.
It shall be a joint venture with Unilever (via its brand Lipton iced tea) since, Pepsi feels that it would require too much of an investment to launch its own brand as the segment size is considered small.

Recently, Pepsi also entered with another distribution alliance with Hindustan Lever to sell each other's beverage brands besides launching 'Mountain Dew', another leading soft drink brand of the world.

However, the launch timing of the Iced tea is yet to be decided.
