you thought that was enough to stop him, you're wrong. He's
done it again with a new mega store for men-Kemperor!
Yes, we are talking about Bangalore's own Ravi Melwani,
the trendsetter with a mission and a message.
December 2000 saw the inauguration of another of Ravi
Melwani's mega clothing stores…this time exclusively for men
called -'Kemperor'. This store, spread over50,000
sq ft showcases products ranging from garments, accessories,
electronics, toiletries, perfumes, business accessories  like
laptops, computers, branded mobile phones and a variety of choices
from toiletries to fitness equipment. Kemperor, on the
second floor of Kemp Fort, will also house an exclusive café
and a business center to allow customers to download e-mails
or send/receive faxes. An in-house tailoring department will
also work round the clock to provide shoppers with the needed
style and comfort.
"Kemperor is a dream project for Kemp Fort. Research into
the current market trends revealed that there were no exclusive
world class male stores to cater to the whims and fancies of
the new age man," says Ravi Melwani.
True to its punch line 'All that a man needs… and more',
Kemperor sure has all  that
a well-dressed male would ever want. You name the brand and
he has it all here - Wrangler, Louis Philippe, Lee, Flying
Machine, Peter England, New Port, Allen Solly, Van Heusen… and
many more! Melwani has also promised to get some of the unheard
brand names from abroad soon. This one-stop shop offers a wide
range of good quality clothing, saves time and promises good
value for money too!
"I have invested around 5-10 crores doing up the interiors
of the place and the total cost of the store is 25-30 crores.
I want to give the best of clothing to the men!" says a
confident Melwani. 
Kemperor could not have come at a better time. With Christmas
and New Year only a few days down the line, now is the
time to pamper oneself with branded designer wear.
