New Basic phone and WiLL tariffs to be set by Telephone regulatory authority of India (TRAI). Revised tariff features could be as follows:

Increased local call rates and rentals.
Cheaper STD/ISD rates.
Additional charges for calling cell phones.
Users under special categories such as retired persons or the needy will be spared from the hike.
