Spam better known as junk mail is spreading across systems like an epidemic slowing down networks and clogging inboxes. Spam is basically unsolicited bulk email sent to promote or sell products or services. These mass unsolicited emails are now frustrating a lot of internet users.

Spam has accounted between 30 to 50 per cent of the overall email traffic in the United States alone. This has led many companies into spending additional time and money in finding solutions to take care of Spam.
