Craig
Chatterton is the Director of the city-headquartered VeriFone
India, a division of the Hewlett-Packard Company. Besides
heading the company's operations in India, he is also responsible
for VeriFone's e-commerce software development worldwide.
VeriFone is the leading global provider of secure electronic
payment solutions for financial institutions, merchants and
customers. Craig Chatterton has managed international software
development programs for the past ten years and has forged business
alliances in Australia, Brazil, China, Hungary, India, Russia,
Singapore, Thailand, UK and other countries. He just recently
completed a five-year assignment as the manager of HP's India
Software Operation in Bangalore. During the term, he led a variety
of initiatives that included building a world class campus infrastructure
to meet the demanding needs of ISO customers and enriching the
manpower strength from 60 to over 700.
Craig Chatterton joined HP in 1976 as an R&D Engineer working
on HP's real time computer systems. He subsequently managed
various hardware and software and software development projects
for HP computer system products. From 1987 to 1990, he managed
a team responsible for HP's PA-RISC computer architecture, which
has been rolled out across a broad array of systems.
He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering
from the University of Illinois.
