Beyond Curricullum |
Christ College's new Centre for Education Beyond Curriculum

very recently. The principal of Christ College Rev. Fr. Sebastian
Thekkedathu said, " The Centre's objective is to enhance
the quality of the educational system through inculcation of
creativity in educational methods and to contribute towards
creativity, development and change in education."

ways of classroom management. It also helps in quality control,
accreditation and in the appraisal of the teacher by the college

On
Teacher's Day different schools of Bangalore celebrated
the occasion with enthusiasm and zeal. Bangalorebest.com
team went to the Bangalore Military School (residential)
to find out just what students had in store for their teachers
on that day.
It was indeed a very different day. Many senior students took
over the role of teachers and handled classes, right from middle
school to higher secondary.
The new Principal for the day was head boy, Dhanesh
Dutt who was seated in the Principal's chair! And
the teachers? They spent the day relaxing in the staff room.
Unlike other days, lunch was also prepared by the students for
the whole school.
The day concluded with a splash of cultural programmes in the
evening which included fashion shows, dances and skits. The
teachers were the guests of honour and later each one of them
came up on the stage to speak about their feelings on Teacher's
Day. They also entertained the students with their extra-curricular
skills!
All in all, it was the Teacher's day out and both students and
teachers enjoyed it!
