- no, not on the streets. We recommend a bowling alley, with
a ball not quite so small. Have a go at some American style
bowling at Alley 365.
Alley 365, as the name suggests, is open 365 days of
the year. This recently opened entertainment centre on KH
Road is a nice place where your family can unwind over the
weekend. Bangalorebest.com spoke to Mr Ramesh B Vijan
and Sachin Vijan, Proprietors, Alley 365, on their
new venture that has been attracting crowds on all days of the
week.
 How
it all came about… "I am into transport business, actually.
We had our own place here on KH Road and I thought of trying
my hands at a little bit of entertainment. Moreover, Bangalore
South lacks a place like this. The biggest advantage we have
here is that this place is inside the city, unlike the other
bowling alleys that are quite far away."
Facilities offered at Alley 365… "We offer four lanes
bowling alley, glow lanes, pool tables, video games and an exclusive
multi-cuisine restaurant. We are open from 11 am-11.30 pm on
all the days of the year."
 The
clientele…"Our customers are mainly youngsters and the family
crowd. Most of the youngsters come here during the morning hours,
as the charge per bowling is less at Rs 60. We also have a bar
attached. The restaurant can accommodate 60 people. Private
parties are also arranged here almost everyday for 15-20 people."
The rates and food… "Our place has very reasonable rates
unlike other bowling alleys. An average non-veg meal for two
costs Rs 200 minus the drinks, whereas, a veg meal would cost
Rs 150. Our food is good and tasty. With 30 staff members, we
have been doing pretty well at the moment."
 Special
offers… " Any person making a hat-trick in bowling will
receive a free Pepsi can. We have a full-time DJ who plays unlimited
music only on customer request. We also have special offers
for students, who, on showing their ID cards, can avail special
discounts too!"
