Barist-AH! - Flavour of the Month

The counter at BaristaIn Italian Barista means an expert in the making and brewing of coffee. Bangalore's newest coffee parlour more than lives upto its name. Part of the Delhi based chain 'Barista Coffee Company', this Turner Morrison venture has been hugely successful in Delhi, Bombay, Chandhigarh, Hyderabad, and is now brewing up a storm in our very own Bangalore!

The friendly ambience at Barista has an inviting openness that one rarely finds in other coffee parlours. Brightly lit and done up in tasteful orange, its spacious interiors spell casual charm. Everyone is welcomed Customers enjoy their brewwith a ready smile and there is nothing elitist or pretentious about the place. ‘Come one come all’ seems to be their mantra, and it sure seems to be working. The initial response has been overwhelmingly positive. Youth and families on shopping sprees frequent this refreshing retreat.

Barista has a lot to offer that sets them apart and makes drinking coffee here a truly novel experience. With more than 25 different flavours to choose from, they have something to suit everyone's tastebuds. The connoisseur has espresso and cappuccinos that match the world's best standards. They also have a range of short eats like sandwiches, cookies, rolls and cakes. Though their recipe for success is a closely guarded one they recommend you try their 'brrrista' to chill out!

AnBesides coffee, there's scrabble and more innovative and contemporary spirit seems to be part of all they do, providing scrabble, dictionary, chess or even the guitar at no extra cost, besides newspapers and magazines for the avid reader. “There is no cover charge for this place. We plan to provide an affordable and alternative option to expensive 5 star hotels or pubs. No drinks are served and smoking is not allowed. With a seating capacity of 90, people feel free to walk in without reservations,” says Vijetha, the person in charge.

Barista has another outlet on Walton Road too.
