Ramana's, situated on Cunningham Road is dedicated to Sri Ramana Maharshi and is an unit of Highway Hotel Ltd which has been successfully running a popular hotel in Tinsukia, Assam for almost 20 years. From the moment you step inside, the scent that hits you is the aromatic allure of mingled spices stirring and of rich exotic fantasies of India.

City's prominent architect, Renu Mistri, has designed Ramana's. Spices enclosed in glass bottles attract immediate attention. Tree of life on its main wall gives it a very earthy feeling. Ramana's has completed one successful year of operation on 10th of July, Congratulations!

Ramana's, a unique restaurant serves mouth-watering range of vegetarian cuisine. Skilful chefs use quality ingredients to create healthy, wholesome & delicious fare. The mission statement of the restaurant -"where vegetarianism is a passion".
"We believe in simple food without any artificial colour or flavour, we do not use oil for our cooking, except very few dishes where we use butter or cream instead of oil," says the manager of the restaurant Manoj.

The food is attractively presented, accompanied with poetic names. The dining area accommodates 64 people at a time and is spacious, with simple decor. A wide glass wall fronting a busy road offers an interesting view & natural light brightens up the interior.

"Our logo is the sun, the symbol of rich knowledge in Ochre colour. And we believe and promote vegetarian food as a way of life," adds Manoj.

Some of the mouth-watering and unique dishes at Ramana's are Chilli idlies. Wondering what it is? They are normal idlies with Chinese flavour, interesting isn't it !

Most of us have heard of and tasted bhel puri or tomato bhel but not many of us have heard of corn bhel. Well this is another unique dish at Ramana's. Khastha roti, Bhareli Mirchi, Makai Paneer, Gobhi Methi… are some of the unique dishes here.

The prices are quite affordable and start from Rs 15 to Rs 80. An average meal for two costs around Rs 250/-.
