STARTING A RESTAURANT

India's favourite sport is eating out. There might be people who dream of opening a restaurant of their own but may not have to courage for it. If one is confident of their cooking skills and has the determination then it is simple to start up a restaurant. Here are a few tips to guide you.

" Priority has to be given to the sort of food that will be offered at the restaurant. Test the recipes again and again to be perfect with it.

" Secondly a business plan has to be prepared with all the details as to, the sort of restaurant, the location, the size and the number of staff that would be employed and also the amenities required for the restaurant and finally the total cost. Raising funds can be done with the help of family and friends or with banks and other financial institutions with a proper business plan.

" Finally a licence must be obtained from the local municipal corporation and from the police.

Once the restaurant has started, it might to run pretty smoothly, but as the days progress it might be tough but never lose heart and everything will go on well. Make sure the food provided is good, clean and hygienic and add different items to the menu card slowly and not at the first time itself.
