The best way to ensure your pet remains in good health is to regularly look out for symptoms of illness. Careful attention can pinpoint even a slight change, which might save your pet from a great deal of pain and suffering.

If you notice the following symptoms, consult your vet immediately:

  • Unusual lethargy.
  • Constant rejection of feed.
  • Excessive discharge from eyes, nose and ears.
  • Excessive drinking of water.
  • Sudden and excessive weight loss or gain.
  • Unexplained swelling or lump formation.
  • Irregular or difficult urination.
  • Abnormal loss of hair, bald spots, dull coat.
  • Limping, difficulty in getting up or lying down.
  • Vomiting or loose motion.
  • Scratching, biting or licking any part of body.
  • Bad breath.
  • Laboured breathing.
