 Comfortable Home Renovation

Home renovation is always a painful affair, which involves large scale upheaval of furniture and other household items. You can make it less of a bother by following a few tips:
  • If you are having your home renovated while staying in it, keep one room aside to dump all your things. Make it a kind of base for operations.

  • Do not invest in too many things. Buy the items you require as and when construction progresses or after construction
    .
  • Protect your furniture and wood items by covering them with a thick, old blanket or bedspread.

  • Dusty things like cement should be stored outdoors, not indoors.

  • People who have chronic asthma or other allergic symptoms should not stay in a house that is being renovated. The same applies to the elderly.

  • The kitchen should be the last place to be renovated and one bathroom should always be kept for use.

  • Food items should be kept covered all the time.

  • Paints and varnishes should be kept out of reach of children.
