KSBA is affiliated to the Billiards & Snooker Federation
of India (BSFI), which in turn is affiliated to the World Billiards
& Snooker Federation. Apart from the A/c Billiards room, they
have an A/c bar, veg and non-veg canteen, a spacious lawn, library,
a TV room, guest rooms and a standard health club equipped with multi
gym, sauna and massage facilities. The Association also has reciprocal
arrangements with clubs all over India and U.A.E.
The Association believes in the theme - 'Catch them Young', and their
scheme Talent Category coaching for the youngsters in the age group
of 14-21 has produced some rare talents. Apart from this, they regularly
conduct Holiday coaching camps, which attract not only youngsters
but elders too.

The
women cueists are not far behind. They too have excelled by winning
many tournaments. Judy Walia (Snooker), Usha Rao (Billiards),
and Farah Khan (Billiards & Snooker) have won the National
Championships many times.
KSBA conducts the following tournaments every year.

3. Karnataka State Open Billiards & Snooker Championship for both
Juniors & Seniors.

5. B C Ananthasayanam Memorial Inter-Club Handicap Billiards & Snooker
Tournament.
6. Mrs. Memoona Omer Fair Play Billiards and Snooker Tournament.
7. Karnataka State Ranking Billiards & Snooker Tournament for both
Juniors and Seniors.

They
have successfully conducted four coaching camps for our country's
Billiards and Snooker teams which have won Gold, Silver and bronze
medals at the Asiad '98. Very frequently the member players
of the Association take part in World level tournaments in individual
capacity.
For the first time, when Billiards and Snooker were one of the disciplines
at Asian Games'98 at Bangkok, KSBA's players excelled and won
5 medals (2 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze) which was the highest for any
discipline by India in the Games.
Recently, the World Under 21 Snooker Championship conducted
by the Association witnessed 62 players from 22 countries participating
in this Championship. The Championship, sponsored by Geet Sethi
(former Indian World Champion) was a huge success.
