Maintenance
of a cricket bat
Never let the bat get wet
After using it on the turf, remember to put it back in the case.
If you are not using it for a long time, oil it every two months.
Always season a new bat, preferably with a ball wrapped in a
sock.
You can paste fibre tapes all over the blade, so that the blade
doesn't get chipped off.
One last thing: Treat the bat like a child.
