With women always on the move nowadays either on a leisure trip or a business trip it become highly important for them to remain fit during and after the journey.
The first and foremost point will be to start right. If the beginning is without any rush then the rest may go only calmly. Try to pack your things well in advanced atleast 2 days ahead to avoid the late night packing the previous night which brings on exhaustion, fatigue and irritability. A good sound sleep is highly recommended as a good breakfast before your trip. If you are prone to airsickness, reserve a window seat in the flight. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water while in travel. Don't go in for caffeine laden soft drinks, coffee or alcohol as it tends to dehydrate the body.
Give your body some exercise while on long flights, trains and car rides. Walk around the airport and inside the flight, at the stations at short intervals to loosen your stressed out leg muscles. The occurrence of Deep Venous thrombosis which can lead to blood clots is possible when you remain sitting in the same position for long periods leading to pain and swelling in the legs which can last for days and weeks. The next most important point is to eat right while traveling. Eat something light and well cooked and hot food. Avoid ice, salads and dairy products. A few travel tips which can benefit you are " Get some shut-eye while traveling: earplugs, eyeshades and neck-pillows are all useful. " Placing a small pillow between the lower back and the airplane seat helps counteract the tendency to slump and decrease the risk of back pain. " Always carry a first aid kit and the medicines you might need in case of an emergency. " Camomile tea takes the edge off a stressful journey; it relaxes the mind as well as sore muscles. " Make sure your immunizations are current.
