Mark's Road is making waves with the those who just

spacious hang-out places. Roshni Jaiswal and Jai Singh,
the proprietors, gave the place its unique name after much
deliberation. According to Hindu and Hebrew calendars, and
also numerologically, the name '180' was just right! 'Proof'
was added later and stands for a measure of alchoholic strength.
The calm ambience of this lounge
(so different from other hang-outs!) is accentuated by the
latest Indian fusion trance music. The peace is in total
contrast to the jar of the crowd and the traffic outside.
The overall set-up and decor in the style of 19th century
England takes us back to a world of quiet elegance. All
kudos to Kabir Heera, Sandeep Khosla and Roshni Jaiswal
who were instrumental in arranging the whole ' Lounge'.
Sensuous rosewood furniture in different shapes and designs
add to the romantic atmosphere. If you are planning a lavish
private party, the 'Loft' is the place for you. Huge
sofas in rich, vibrant colors of blue and red, with soft
fabric, give a feeling of luxury appealing to the senses.
It is another cosy place to unwind.
You
get anything and everything here from hard alchohol to cocktails.
The best offer of the place are four cocktails with alcohol
bases in the Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. They
cost between Rs 150 to Rs 300 respectively. Delectable European
cuisine can also be ordered in the afternoon and Toothpick
food in the evenings. "All of these are 'on fire',"
says Jai Singh. Along with him are bartenders, cocktail
specialists, attenders and a full time DJ, Anoop,
who is 'the icing on the cake'. Jai also claims that
his place does three times more business than the other
pubs in the town!
