Located just 25 km from the Bangalore and sprawling
over 25,000 acres, Bannerghatta
Nature Camp offers Nature Lovers an experience of a life time. As
the camp is open throughout the year, it can prove to be nice way
to spend your weekends amidst the flora and fauna. Major tourist
attractions include Lion, Tiger and Bear Safaris.
The camp has eight luxurious twin bedded cottages,
Swiss tents to make your stay comfortable and memorable. You can
also choose to stay in the two newly added log-huts or if you are
there to enjoy with a large group of friends then you can opt for
the dormitory which can accommodate upto 20 persons at a time. The
camp also has a one of its own open dining area called "Gol

This former hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore
is secluded  on
the southern fringe of Karnataka's Rajiv Gandhi National Park,
220 kms from Bangalore. Spread over 55 acres, the lodge's lush
green environs on the banks of the Kabini is home to elephants,
gaur, chital, sambar and sloth bears, the giant Malabar squirrel,
the four horned antelope and well over a hundred avian species.
Top of the billing are the big cats: the leopard and the tiger.
For accommodation, the choice ranges from 14 rooms
in the luxuriously appointed colonial lodges, to the 6 twin-bedded
cottages that overlook the river. Lovers of the outdoors can sleep
in any one of five tented cottages.

K.Gudi Camp is located 3375 ft above sea level and is interspersed

tented cottages, log huts on stilts and at the former Maharaja's
hunting lodge, room for a total of around 35 to 40 guests. A bar
and a multi-cuisine dining is at the open-sided Gol Ghar restaurant.

its shores 
lapped by the azure Arabian Sea, offers a host of leisure pursuits

cruises up the river Kali that give a chance to get acquainted with
the local people, their customs, folklore and crafts such as the
sandalwood carvings of Kumta.
Devbagh has excellent scuba diving, a facility
run by trainers affiliated to PADI, (The Professional Association
of Diving Instructors - USA,) whose primary concerns are the safety

of environmental conservation. Deep within the whispers of a casurina
grove growing all the way down to the water are thatched-roof log

banks of River Cauvery, Dubar Elephant camp offers a unique opportunity
to watch and learn about the Asiatic Elephants from close quarters.
One could watch the Mahouts give the elephants
a special scrub-bath and also get a chance to feed them. Take an
Elephant ride into the Dubare Reserve Forest and experience the
wilderness from a different "height".
Although the camp is open throughout the year, Rafting is available
only during the rainy months of June, July, August and September.
