Rajalakshmi in Calcutta and there has been no looking back since then. She has been recognized as a 'Raj Bhavan Artiste' by the Governor of Maharashtra and has danced in honour of their majesties the king and queen of Nepal among others. After she won the Miss Teen Princess India, she went on to make her debut in the film world and later became an artist of distinction.
