Good Morning Deccan Herald
Deccan Herald, pitches in a new look and feel for its readers...

Bangalore's very own news daily, Deccan Herald, from today wears a new look and feel, to give its readers a better reading experience and make the newspaper more functional and visually appealing.

The new design includes an improved, colourful, bolder and friendly masthead, bolder typeface for the lead story headline, overview summaries for major news stories, highlights for important stories inside the pages, Strap line ads - one-line descriptors about a product or service, Short News Bits - Important news in the city conveyed in a short and attractive manner, Short Quotes - significant quotes along a specific story to help break monotony, bigger photographs to make the sections more exciting, Television and leisure schedules in a cleaner and more simplified grid format etc. Added to this, the supplementary edition of DH Metro Life, will also come in a new format, three times a week, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

The new look is definitely refreshing but some readers will still need some time to drown in the nostalgia of the old Deccan Herald and return to the joy of reading the new and fresh Deccan Herald.
