| So,
did you miss out on the event everyone is
still talking about.... The thunder birds
were out in the skies of Bangalore in the
first week of February and half the town
was there to witness it. On the last day
of the Aero India Show 2001, a crowd of
more than a 1,00,000 thronged the Yelahanka
Airforce base. Despite the hot sun and unbelievable
traffic jams, people came in droves to watch
the spectacular air display conducted both
in the morning and evening. And was it worth
it? Ask those whose heartbeat stopped a
while when the flying machines ripped through
the blue skies. |
