Oh! What is life?
Have you seen a reflection of the sunset in a slushy pool
in the city market… have you seen a used polythene bag caught
by a whirlwind dancing like an angel… have you seen a butterfly
sipping mineral salt from a discarded bag of potato chips…
Have you run into a vehicle in a traffic jam whose bumper
sticker says, 'Let's not meet accidentally'… have you smiled
at that giggling kid sitting in a car beside you, to encounter
that face again and again
at every next signal… Have you?!
