Life
is a never ending journey...
Musafir hoon main yaaron Na ghar hai na tikaana Mujhe chalte
jaana hai, bus chalte jaana…
Kishore Kumar's song brings this guy to mind. Meet Bheemeshwar
Thulajapurkar who is determined to travel the length and breadth
of India visiting places of pilgrimage.
Starting from Pandarapur in Maharashtra, the abode of God
Panduranga, he was in Bangalore on his way to Madurai and
Kanyakumari.
His
bullock cart carries the image of Goddess Ambabhavani in the
back and his family and belongings in the front. He has very
little money but is optimisitic that he will manage with what
people offer him on his way.
Amazing, isn't it, that there are still those few who dare
to lead a life without care, without bothering where the road
of life leads them?
And don't so many of us long to get away from it all - everyday
hassles, the rat race, the stress? This seeing of strange
places and meeting of strange faces must be a wonderful experience.
Do we dare….
And indeed there will be time
To wonder, ``Do I dare?'' and, ``Do I dare?''
- T S Eliot
