Very often the needy who genuinely require legal assistance
can rarely afford it. Now there is an organisation that champions
their cause. The recently opened Free Legal Advice Centre,
a branch of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority
(KSLA), offers free legal assistance of advocates to those
who are incapable of paying for it. Lawyers of the legal aid
cell will also espouse the cause of the victims.
Eligibility criteria
Victims of natural or industrial disasters and human trafficking
Women and children.
The specially challenged and underpriviledged.
The mentally challenged.
Convicts.
Victims of riots.
Those whose monthly income is less than Rs. 1,500/-

Income Tax Refund
Fill up the column indicating 'Refund due' - while filing
income tax returns.
Enclose the original Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) certificate.
The due date for filling salary return is June 30 and
that for business returns is August 31 every year.
While filling in the form, make sure the address stated
is free of errors.
