Keshav Vitla
Photojournalist
Keshav's
photographs speak volumes. Keshav Vitla, Indian
Express's ace photographer, hails from Vitla in Dakshina
Kannada. The world around him kindled his interest in photography.
His camera captures the candid moments of everyday, mundane
life exquisitely. His eye for detail gives a new dimension
to his surroundings. He is greatly inspired by the works of
Yajna, a photojournalist of Mangalore.
Photojournalism is his first love. He got a break in Mungaru
- a Mangalore-based Kannada daily. When Y.N. Krishnamurthy
of Kannada Prabha summoned him to work as a
photojournalist in the Kannada daily and Indian Express, where
he is currently employed, he jumped at the offer. His photo
column, Veekshane, in Kannada Prabha
is popular. He is planning to launch his own website, digitalhampi.com,
focussing on the temples and architectural splendour of Hampi
and another site on Indian dogs.
