Azim Premji, chairman of Wipro Corporation, has a unique and interesting perspective on the economy; he refrains from comparing between the old and the new economy.

In his opinion, the two economies are just two points on the continuum of an evolving economy.

The basics that govern any economy (Cyclical changes, Laws of demand and supply) will continue to govern all economies. The changes actually take place in the qualitative and quantitative factors that transform the structure of the economy. The new age economy is one that is being currently driven by Knowledge and Ideas, says Mr. Premji.
