RADO COMES TO TOWN

- with stuff dreams are made of

Swiss watch major, Rado Watch Company, has brought its 'Royal Dream' exhibition to Bangalore. The exhibition was inaugurated by Rado Regional Sales Manager, Christian Leiggener at 'Timeshop' in Bhandar Complex, Seshadri Road near Anand Rao Circle and will be on until May 15.

'Royal Dream' - the premium luxury diamond-studded gold watch is a marvel in pure gold and diamonds - valued at Rs 28 lakhs. It is a magnificent crowning version of Rado's original 'Diastar'.

As part of its promotional campaign, Rado will, during the course of the exhibition, run a contest. Any customer who owns a Rado watch is entitled to participate in the lucky draw. The winner whose name will be announced on May 15, is entitled to a Rado watch!

Rado Watch Ltd was part of the US $4.6 billion Swiss Francs Swatch Group and had the credit of introducing the world's first scratch-proof watch. Says Mr Gopalratnam Kannan, DGM, of the Swatch Group's expansion plans:"The company plans to expand its Indian operations through a stronger dealer network and by increasing its point-of-sales from the current 65 to 80 by the end of the year." The Swatch Group had already introduced six out of its eighteen-brand portfolio in India. Although specifically targetted at a niche segment, the company's turnover had grown by about 15% since its inception in India.

The exhibition was earlier held at Hyderabad, Surat, Ludhiana, Calicut, Jaipur, Varanasi, Amritsar and Pune
