In the heart of Chennai is a market quite different from any other. Pudupet market, which deals exclusively with used automobile spare parts. Shock absorbers, bearings, indicators, dials, carburettors, wheels, engines …anything you can find on a motor vehicle, you can find here. There are streets, which deal with truck and car spares separately. One can bring an old bike, dismantle it and sell almost all of its parts. It is also possible to assemble an entire motorbike just from parts from Pudupet!!!!.
